Temporary Foreign Workers Work Permit

To participate in the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, a Canadian company must submit an LMIA. Employers are required to promote open positions under TFWP at least 4 weeks prior to submitting an LMIA application. Additionally, it must be shown that no qualified Canadians are available to fill the given position. A foreign worker cannot apply for a work permit until a positive LMIA has been issued.

You may apply for a variety of work permit programmes, including:

  • Temporary Foreign Worker Program
  • International Mobility Program
  • Express Entry Program
  • PNP Worker Stream
  • Post-Grad Student Work Permit
  • Spousal Work Permit
  • Live-In Caregiver Program
